Essential Functions of a Job

  • Assist the team in the design, drafting, documenting, sourcing, implementation and testing of.
  • Utilize computer aided design & drafting techniques to perform applicable work.
  • Create detail design work to produce ready drawings, bill of materials, and schematics.
  • Do all necessary investigations pertinent to the design and maintain reference criterion incidental to designing.
  • Work closely with lead engineer to analyze projects and material costs. Develop designs that can be produced economically to maintain or improve the company's competitive position.
  • Follow up the construction and testing of pilot models; assist with analyzing results and do corrective redesigning when required.
  • Alter detail and layout drawings to conform to engineering changes
  • Provide technical support for both internal team members and external customers.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Requires experience and background in designing techniques and principles around which.
  • Experience in Fluid Power and Electrical Knowledge a plus.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Solid works, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and other software/applications. Experience in other 3D software including, Inventor, Pro-E, Unigraphics and Catia also helpful.
  • Must have ability to research and analyze various types of data information
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work.
  • Must have the ability to meet the programs, goals, objectives, policies, procedures, etc., of the Engineering Department.
  • Must perform under little or no supervision in a timely manner and with acceptable quality.
  • Requires regular attendance and timeliness.
  • Willingness to travel to and work as needed.
